sudden onset of burning cough

not flu, not cold.
exposure to tb in last 4 weeks.
i have burning cough, with no other symptoms, other than sleepiness.

I feel healthy other than this terrible cough that burns. No sore throat, no nasal congestion, no flu like aches and pains. I have lower than normal energy and don't feel sick but this cough that just came on out of nowhere sounds like I'm very sick.

I visited my parents two days ago, both have been sick for two weeks with flu like symptoms including bad coughs.

What could this be?
