suggestions regarding orthodics

I need suggestions regarding putting orthotics in neutral shoes or in a motion controlled or stability shoe? Have anyone did this?

I've wondered about this also. I wear a stability shoe and I do wear my orthodics with them and have not had a problem. I've gone by the advice at the running store though, not a podiatrist. I have high arches, so I'm afraid to test the shoes without the orthodics lest the pain come back! I have tried wearing them both under and over the insole seems like they fit better over. I think that best suggestion a podiatrist will give you.
