I usually don't go to the beach and I have pale white legs. I went yesterday to the beach for about five hours and today for two hours during peak hours. I am now sunburn, red. is that bad?

being sunburnt when you have pale skin can hurt like hell, plus it does increase your risk of skin cancer.

i would suggest you put some aftersun cream on your sunburn and keep yourself covered up if you go out in the sun again until your sunburn heals!

i have really pale skin and use factor 30 suncream but still manage to get a tan, so you will no doubt too! don't forget to use suncream and aftersun when you come out of the sun, it will help prevent burns.

as its only been once, i doubt you have caused yourself that much damage, just take more care in the future!
