hi,
i am currently 19. when i was about 14/15, i was hit in the groin with a ball and lost my left testicle. it shrunk to the size of a pea. my other testicle has never given me any pain or any other problems. i have regular sexual drive and everything is normal.
but all this talk about "testicular torsoin" has had me worried. should i get my "dead" testicle surgically removed and get the other one "tacked" to avoid any complications. i am really worried. plz help.

also, is it possible to take some tissue from my healthy testicle to use it replace my dead one like the british man who suffered cancer ?

hey man i know how you feel, i am 15 almost 16 and i have suffered the same thing, ever since i rember my left testicle has bean about the size of a pea, i think i had trama as a child. i am currently debating weather to have the testicle removed and the other one "tacked". i think my overall decision will be to get it removed.

Dont be scared to do it. nothing should happen and it should all be ok. sorry i could not help much with this decision, im glad there is someone else out there who knows how hard this is and understands it.

good luck on your decision

hey there. Just want to offer my advice. 7 years ago i had my left testicle removed. It was the size of a pea and wasn't serving any purpose. The doctor advised it best to have it removed. It was all pretty simple really. Stayed overnight in the hospital and was out the next day. Istayed in bed for two weeks and then i was up and about. Its a litle bit painful for those two weeks mainly when you try and get up to go to the bathroom but once its done you can go on as normal and 7 years later im absolutely fine
