swelling brought about from use of cortisteriods

My first time posting. Orgrin of swelling was brought about from use of cortisteriods for injury to the piriformis muscle. Swelling appeared within 15/20 mintues that followed the final series of 6 injections which were done once a wk.

My PCP later referred to it as lymephedema. It was never present before. Swelling became a problem and to present day. I feel this substances beneath has to be so what a stagant engima It isn't water,in my opinion it may be an accuminlation of fat from the medication used. Doctor's havn't suggested anything as a matter of fact they basically have alwayed ignored it.
Any suggestions would be appeciated.
