swelling on upper side of inner vaginal wall, uncomfortable

Hi

I am trying to work out if this was a result of just too much sex, a bladder infection, or something else. Basically I had a bit of sex last weekend with a new partner, then I was in coaches for hours so didn't pee or drink as much (which is why it could perhaps be a bladder infection?). We were mostly protected except for a few mins pre-ejaculation when I suddenly thought wooops and we stopped. However the guy is not promiscuous, he's actually my best mate and I'm only the second person he slept with... Apparently his live-in ex was tested before they slept together so he considers himself clean.

Basically then, about 5 days after, I noticed it felt a bit tight downstairs. First noticed by tightness when going to the toilet, and feeling like I needed it when I didn't. However it isn't a burning sensation. The odd feeling is that in the vaginal hole, when i put my finger about an inch in and feel upwards i.e. towards my clitorus, there is a big swelling with what feels like bobbly bits on it. I am sure it wasn't like that before... Or at least, not to the point where I feel like my bladder is full when it isn't.

So, is it just a gratefully mild form of cystitis? A sex injury (usually I am pretty much celebate so perhaps my body isn't used to it?)? Or should I book myself a check-up... I know I should anyway really, but I have issues about going, I'm abroad and they always look at me like I am a slut, even though I basically have sex on an annual basis or less...

Advice very welcome! My current plan is to take these all-natural pills for cystitis, see if it clears up, if it doesnt, go see the doctors.

Hi I just looked up the symptoms of what I have been experiencing for over 2 years now, and your post came up. Did you have any luck in finding out what the problem is? I have went to the doctors numerous times and they given me antibiotics which help for a while and then it starts again. My boyfriend has been checked and he has no problems, although i never had this problem before I started sleeping with him. I am actually dying to go to the toilet and when i finally get there hardly anything comes out. I have the same feeling where I press the inner wall of my vagina and I get the urge to go again although there is nothing left!It also feels swollen down there when this happens. Wish someone knew what it was as the doctors are so unhelpful
