Hello! Is there anybody who has switched from exapro to effexor xr. I have been experiencing severe side effects with lexapro and the doc recommended I tried effexor xr. I mean I will take it anyway, but I would also like to know what did you experience and what the switch was like. Thx ! By the way, it feels so good being able to talk about this, concerning that nobody at home gets what I am going through.

Hi there! Yes, Good bless the forums! It happens so often that I find my relief here, understanding that I am not the only one with such weird problems. Anyway…the switching……I experienced side effects from both drugs, and was then put on prozac which I am handling just fine. This doesn’t mean you won’t be good on effexor xr. I was all indifferent on both drugs and just felt like sleeping, and experienced dizzy spells with effexor xr. I hope you will get more lucky!
