Hi, my friend is suffering from thyroid gland cancer and she was on chemotherapy for few months when her doctor decided to switch her chemo and give her other chemotherapy. When she started with chemotherapy tumor was pretty big and with time it became smaller. I don't know why did doctor made such decision when there were obvious results.

Hi, my sister was also suffering from cancer and her doctor switched her chemo few times. They usually decide to bring such decision when some chemotherapy has to be paused or when they decide to include some stronger chemotherapy which may be used in shorter time. Sometimes oncologist combines chemotherapy and surgery.
