I am 19 years old, ADD diagnosed. I was on Dexedrine and it helped at first, raising my spirits, but now I can never sleep I just lay there frustrated for hours on end and my appetite is next to nothing. I was wondering if maybe someone out there had advice on switching drugs, from Dexedrine on Aderall? Thanks.
I don't think you should be switching drugs without doc advice. I have been on dexedrine for about 2.5 yrs. now. I would suggest ask your doctor for a drug for sleep and continue with Dexedrine, since you just started taking it your tolerance is high and you will become more tolerant with time.
