swollen and painful vagina and swollen glands the day after sex?

Hello! Yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend. I have noticed the day after sex that my vagina is swollen and painful and my glands are, also, swollen. Can you tell me what is going on here? Is this some sexually transmitted disease? Have you ever faced problem like this? What would be your recommendation? Thank you in advance!

Hello! You will need to visit your doctor. These symptoms point to many things. Maybe you caught some sexually transmitted disease some time ago, and symptoms accidentally are shown the day after sex. Could be that you have herpes. But, also this may be symptom of syphilis. You will need to do some medical exams. I can tell you for sure that you have some infection because your glands are swollen.
