swollen earlobes

Hello!
I need advice. I got my earlobes pierced 2 years ago. Since then I have constant problems with them. My earlobes are constantly swollen, red and some kind of greenish gunk is coming form the pierced hole. I am wearing silver earrings.

Your ears are not used to earrings. This is bed reaction to jewelry. You can put some alcohol on the wound, but probably this won’t help the wound to heal and you will be also in future experiencing this swelling and redness. This is also my case, that is why I stopped wearing earrings… my earlobes just couldn’t tolerate them, no matter what kind I wore… silver or gold.
