It could be many things and the only way to find out and be certain is to see a doc.
Nodes swell when there’s a nearby infection or inflammation. It could be due to cold, teeth problems, throat infections, etc
If they have swollen and are hurting, they are probably fighting an infection and should be gone once the infection had gone. It takes them about 2 weeks after an infection to disappear.
Are you sure these are swollen glands? Are they swollen on both sides? What are the bumps like? Hard of soft? How long have they been present?
Are these two bumps the only symptoms you are experiencing? Have you had cold recently or any other medical problems?
