Hi, I've been on the birth control patch for three weeks, and I have noticed my stomach seems swollen. No pain, but it seems poofy and a little bit uncomfortable. I am just wondering if this is a normal side effect.
I was on the patch a year and a half age just before I got married. I stayed on it for six months until my husband deployed. I think my stomach was a little poofy then too. It seems to get larger on the third patch dosage.
Now he will be home soon, and it is difficult to get into the doctors office. I don't want to get off of it because he will be home in three weeks. After a year deployment, I am not ready for a baby at the age of 22.
