I am typing this for my uncle. He was diagnosed with colon cancer a year ago. He was treated with radiation and chemotherapy. (the max a person can recieve) Throughout all this he was diagnosed with having ulcers which made it painful to have a bowel movement. He now has improved some but due to the painful bowel movements he was under very heavy pain medications in which some included morphine. Now he is no longer taking these however he now has symptoms that are troubling us. His arms and legs are tingling and they are numb. The numbness and tingling are preventing him from walking and he keeps dropping things since he can't really hold on to items in his hands. Does anyone know what is going on? Has anyone already been through this? If so, how did you get past it? Did you even get through this? His doctor doesn't seem to be concerned with this and has scheduled a visit for a month from now. However, we would like to see if anyone else had this- is this normal?
