Is fluid retention (weight gain) a symptom of coming off of hydrochlorot? I stopped taking the drug (per my physician) on 10/1/06. By 10/7/06, I was 9 pounds heavier. I have not changed eating habits and am in fact in a Weight Watchers program where I have been steadily losing for some months. What can I do? Should I go back on the pill and gradually come off of it?
