symptoms of depo after being on it for 16 months

I have been on the depo shot for 16 months now. My body took to it really well. The only time I had any sort of symptoms (besides not getting a period) is for about a week after I get the shot. But now for the past 2 weeks or so I have been really moody, and had stomach cramps pretty bad ones. Could I just now be getting syptoms from the shot. I thought the symptoms were suppose to go away within time. Not start up after using the shot for a long time. Any one have any clues ?

I was on the Depo shot for three years. My doctor told me that your body adjusts to the shot over time. So after a while you might have some spotting when you are suposed to have your period or you might have cramps, be moody. All of what goes along with your period.
