| Hi, I am very worried about my friend. He has become suspicious about everything. At first I didn't pay much attention to his behavior, but as the days passed, he turned into a real paranoiac. He has come to the point where he thinks that every person is trying to hurt him. I think that these are the symptoms of paranoid behavior. Can you tell me if I am right and what can I do to help him? |

| Hi, you are probably right. These are the symptoms of paranoid personal disorder. However, there are some other symptoms that can point to paranoid behavior. One of them is judging loyalty of his friends. He also may start to find hidden meanings in normal everyday situations. If you notice this pattern of behavior in your friend, than he is definitely suffering from paranoid personality disorder. Since your friend's situation is not that difficult you should try to convince him to see a professional therapist. This is the only way that you can help him. |
