I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism a month ago. I went to see a doctor because a started to lose my hair rapidly and put on weight, and he determined that I am having this hormone disorder. I am on Synthroid now. I would like to know what side-effects of this drug are and what will happen if I miss the dose? I‘ll be grateful for any information.

Here are some side-effects that can be caused by Synthroid: weight lost, upset stomach, vomiting, insomnia, irritability, cramps, sweating, fever, changes in menstrual cycle…there are others and if you noticed some of them seek for medical attention, also if you miss the dose take dose as soon as you remember, but do not take double dose.
