Is it possible that I am feeling L’Hermittes sign in my tailbone? It is like electrical sensation, but not jerking, when I flex my neck and runs to the tailbone. What can you tell me about L’Hermittes sign? I have heard that this is one of multiple sclerosis symptoms. I am very worried; please give me some information about it.
L’Hermites sign is a name for the sensation electric shock like and it’s often presented itself with multiple sclerosis, but it can also be a sign of cervical cord tumor, or electrolyte imbalance etc. It is typically that sensation starts from neck, it can run true spine and into a limbs before exiting true arms and legs. I am not sure if it is L’Hermittes sign if you feel just in your tailbone. Better ask neurologist about it.
