| I currentlly take birth control. I have a real problem with depression. I have had depression my whole entire life, having taken many differnt kinds of pills for depression. i havent been taking any depression pills over a year, afraid it will effect my birth control pills. The effects of me not taking any kind of depression pills i have become real vilent twords all people. I feel apon SJW from a friend, and is wonderinf if it will effect the brthcontrol |

SAINT JOHNS wort DOES INTERFERE with birth control! This is widely known, and cautioned about form many docs!
Zoloft, prozac, or other prescription drugs WOULD NOT affect your birth control. |

The only problems with prozac,(fluoxetine), and the like, are that they increase your anxiety, and can have side-effects such as nausea, rashes
and agitation. St johns wort would be better for depression in the long run.
The agression you feel is due to anger because no-one is coming up with any real answers or help for your depression.
Whatever the reason for the depression, your body chemicals are unbalanced while you suffer. Look for safe herbal remedies, and try to find something (or someone) to take your mind off of things, although it's not always easy. |
