Hello. I'm 30 year old female and I would like to be more informed about some facts related to vitamins, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
About a month ago I got a beautiful daughter and my life has changed in so many ways. All this work around a baby and non-sleeping made me look really tired and I've decided to take some vitamins. You see, while I was pregnant, I was taking vitamins B and C and I felt great. Now, when I'm breastfeeding her, I was thinking to start using one-a-day weight smart vitamins supplements because, beside the fact that I need vitamins, I also become overweight.
So, I was wondering did anyone used it and if it was ok to take while breastfeeding. Thanks!

Hello. I was also interested to find more about this issue when I was breastfeeding. I was taking these one-a-day supplements before I even got pregnant and that’s why I needed to know- can I continue with them.
I talked with many friends which told me that I could freely continue taking these vitamins even in breastfeeding period. But there is one problem- these aren’t some usual vitamins. They are supposed to help weight loss and contain EGCG-an extract found in Green Tea.
That’s why I stopped using them. If I was on your place I would not take any herbal while breastfeeding or pregnant as they are not FDA approved. Talk with your doctor over this.
