Hi, I’m 24 years old girl. I had leep a week ago. I‘ve had vaginal discharge since than. I’m interested in how safe is to use tampons. I think that discharge may appear 2-3 weeks after the procedure. What do you know about using tampons after a leep? Thanks.

My gyn told me that tampons may be used for discharge. You should not leave it inside longer than 3 hours. I had leep a year ago. I had discharge 3 weeks after that. I used motrin to relieve cramping.

My daughter has just had Leep procedure and been told not to use tampons for 6weeks!!
