Hello! UV light doesn’t come into the contact with the baby but doctors still advise not raising your body temperature especially in the first trimester. This is because overheating is thought to increase risks of spinal disorders in the baby.
If you go tanning into the sun, make sure you do that before 10am and after 5pm, use sun lotions with SPF 30 or more, wear a hat and make sure you don’t dehydrate, drinking a lot of water.
Pregnancy makes you more prone to burning as well as to developing those pregnancy skin marks on the face.

If you follow these simple steps, you should be fine. Enjoy your pregnancy!
