Hey, I was visiting some tanning beds and was quite satisfied with the color I got. However, only week later this color is gone, it simply fades... what should I do to prevent tanned skin form fading?

My aunt lives at see side... she gave me advice not to wash skin with soap (!!!) if I want to prolong my skin color... this is one of options or simply visiting tanning beds on at least weekly basis.
