I have been on Protriptyline Hydrochlorot for three months now. Yesterday I went to the beach for the first time this year. The sun was pretty strong as I went in the middle of the afternoon. It was the only time when I could go. Anyway, I got all red in very short time and my skin started to burn. I have never had such affect after just a couple of hours of tanning. Could this be due to a drug? Thx

Hi! I ran into information that all drugs that have hydrochloride in them make our skin more sensitive to sunlight and that a person who is taking any of the drugs should avoid sunlamps and tanning beds and use strong sunscreens when going out in the sun.
