mY BROTHER WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT COMPLAINIG OF RAPID heart beat i put my hand to his chest and it was very fast, and he complained of pain in his left arm and what he described as air in his left chest. took him to the ER . and ekg normal and chest x ray normal ...
He needs to wear a monitor for at least a few days to a month. They have "event recorders" that he can wear, and if he feels any symptoms he could press a button that would record his heart beat at that time and the doctor can later look at it.
