Hello! I have been using tegretol for some time but a few days ago I had a rash brake out. Tegretol worked really good for me but this rash is awful. Now the doctor is thinking between lamictal and zonegran, but the thing is that I used zonegran before and it didn’t do me much good. I am wondering now if I could use lamictal even though I had a rash from tegretol. Is there a possibility that I will develop rash from lamictal as well? Thx for the info!!!
Hi there! You can get rashes from both of these medicines but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you will. If you got a rash from tegretol, this doesn’t mean that you will get it from lamictal as well. They work differently on different people.
