Well, if the pain has been present for a week now, you should certainly have it checked.
It could be some sort of bacterial infections. These infections usually cause strange pains although other symptoms may be present as well. There could be swelling of the testicles, a lump in the testicle, fever, or even pain during ejaculation. These infections are usually caused by gastrointestinal bacteria but it could be STD as well.
These infections (within testicle) are easily treated with antibiotics if found on time. Some men experience penile/urethral discharge. If that is the case, the discharge collected and taken for culture.
There could be other causes depending on you age, if you have been diagnosed with epididymitis (the infection), then your prostatic fluids may be checked as well.
Kidneys stones when trying to leave the body may cause such pains but most men feel them in lower back as well as in the groins or/testicles.
These are just wild guesses and without seeing a doc, you won’t know for sure. |
