HI. I had flu 2 weeks ago but right before I got it I had mild discomfort in my left groin. I had strained it a bit running and I wasn't too concerned. But, after I had the flu the discomfort spread to my testicles and the right side of my groin. I went to the doctor who didn't see or feel anything unusual. Also, I’m not sexually active, don’t have any blood in my urine, or any other urination problems. What could have been my problem?? Can the flu settle in this part of your body? Thanks for any replies

Sounds to me like I have the same symptoms. But, unlike you, when I went to my doc he told me he believed I have epididymitis. He’s also prescribed me some meds for it (just few days ago) and I started taking them but it is early to say weather they work or not. I think you (or, should I say, your doc) should consider epididymitis - maybe you have it too. I think it’s worth giving it a try. Hope this helps.

I had pain just like yours. I dont remember straining anything but I guess I did. The two things my doctor told me to do were...
1) Heat it
2) Stretch it
Heat it for a bit, and after you are done heating it, stretch your legs around, and stetching your "tubes" in a way. Pelvic and leg stretches worked for me. |
