I heard that there is a self test for checking for the testicle cancer. I know that some sort of testicle mass is being created on testicles, and that they are the ones we should look for, but is there anything else besides testicle mass man should watch for. Does anyone know how this test looks like? I would appreciate all the info, as I am a bit worried because my grandfather died of testicle cancer!!!!

Hello! Yes, there is a testicle cancer self-test. It should be done around the same time each month. The main reason for performing these tests is to get to know to your body, so that you can immediately recognize changes and abnormalities in case they occur. Testicular cancer spreads very quickly; this is why it is important to recognize it early.
The examination is best done in warm tub because the testes relax that way. Here is what you should look for. 1. Hard lumps: usually it is only on one testicle. Hard lump can be mistaken with congenital cyst, but it is better to check with the doc, then do nothing. 2. Tenderness or general discomfort-cancer-related testicular pain is usually associated with some bleeding, but an overly sensitive testicle could also suggest an inguinal hernia or epididymitis. 3. Hardness in the entire testicle-this is usually the result of a hydrocele, a cystic mass in the testicle, which is also easily treatable. 4. Discharge from the penis-but is rarely an indication of cancer, more of an STD.
