|
|
Hi all. For the past few weeks I've had this strange feeling on my left testicle. Sometimes it felt like if it was being pressed, it wasn't painful but just a slight discomfort. Anyway, I didn't think much of it until I noticed that after ejaculating my testicles hurt a bit. Then just a couple of days ago, I found that I have this weird little lump on that testicle, which is really small but hurts when I press it. So, I'm wondering if this could be cancer or not. I don't really want to see a doctor as I'm only 16 and it would be extremely embarrassing to tell my parents. I'm very worried so please answer me asap!!!

Man, there are so many things that could be causing your discomfort and the lump you described, and most of them ARE NOT cancer. Regarding your age, I think cancer is the last possible option!! But, you could have an infection or something similar that will cause you problems increase over time if you just let it go. Therefore, you shoulg go to have a doctor take a look. It really isn't a big deal, it’s not painful, and your privacy is guaranteed. Also, you shouldn’t be embarrassed about telling your folks but if you still do, you can simply tell them that you have been learning about it in school and how important it is to have a doctor check out anything that doesn't feel right!!
Good luck.

Wrong, from learning from health class from the age group of 15-34 men have high risks of Testicle Cancer, from undecending testes or the lump you have described could be a cancer form and is highly recommened to get it check out. Doesn't mean you'll have to have your testes removed, just to have them be examined by a Doctor. |

| As a medical professional, I encourage you to not let this go. Even if you are scared about telling your parents, it is VERY important to have a physician take a look at your testicles. If it is cancer, it is treatable and cureable. Please, please have it checked out. |

if you dont get it checked out, you could lose them both.
go in, if you have to, make up an excuse to see dr, why not say you have to take physicals for XX sport or after school activity. |

| i know this topic is over 2 years old, but i am having the exact same symptoms as Slatten and by a long shot am wondering if you're still on this board. If so I'd like to ask if you have gotten checked up and how everything turned out. If not more replys on what it could possibly be are welcomed. btw i'm 23 |
