Please tell me what are the main roles of testosterone in men? What is the amount of testoteron that is daily produced in human body? How is it controlled? I would like to be better informed about this very common thing. Thanks.

Testosterone is responsible for development of growth of body hair, beard growth, deep voice, sexual behavior, development of sexual organs and maturation of sperm. Testosterone has anabolic function that helps producing proteins. Level of testosterone is controlled by hypothalamus which releases hormones that can increase and reduce amount of testosterone in blood.
