I am a 42-year-old female and menopause is what is going on. I except it as a normal part of my life, but my family do not understand me. I have sudden feeling of heat in the upper part or all of body and I think that I need at least three air conditioners. My son is yelling that is freezing in the house while I am burning. How can I explain my feeling?
Most hot flashes last between 30 seconds and 10 minutes. In that period try to focus on common needs. Go to a room where is chilly or stand immediately under air conditioner. If have not try HRT, maybe it will help. Hormone pills solved my problems with heat. They became almost unnoticeable.
