I'm a 19 year old male. I was going through a REALLY stressful time a few months ago, and I had blood in my stool right about then. After that, my stools becme narrow on a fairly consistent basis. I had a colonscopy and my doctor saud there was no sign of cancer or anything like that, even though he said he didn't check the whole colon. He only checked what he said he had to. I then did an upper GI series with the Barium enema, and all he found was some inflammation of the right colon that he said could be due to emotional stress. I'm having the stool tested for parasites in a couple days. But I'm going a little nuts bc nothing has been diagnosed, apparently the doc has ruled out cancer, crohns, and colitis, but i still have narrow stools. Fibercon pills help a little bit, but it's still on and off. Anybody have any thoughts on what could be up?

you need to find a new doctor who will have you checked out properly. i`m certainly not saying you have cancer but at least after a proper examination your mind will be put at ease. also i have crohns disease which can affect the whole of the colon and to say you don`t have that he would have needed to do a full check. check out the symptoms and see do you have any others that you havent mentioned.
