Hi, some time ago I started going to the gym. I have taken this step only because I was not satisfied with the way I look. It was very hard at the beginning since I have never worked out before in my life. But now I feel as if I can do a lot more then my trainer is telling me to. I am thinking about changing the program. Do you think that I should do it?

Hi, I am glad that the things in the gym are working out just great for you. I know a lot of people that have quit only because they thought that working out is too difficult for them. It is also good that you turned to a professional trainer for help. As you see, the results are excellent. My suggestion would be not to do anything on your own. Stay with your current program. The slightest change can cause a serious damage to the muscles. Every program is designed to suite a certain "consumer". Believe me that your trainer will make the change in your workout program as soon as he thinks you are ready, or if it is necessary. If you still think that the change is needed, talk to him about it.
