I have recently developed thombosed hemorrhoid. The pain is horrible : ( It is constant. I went to the docotr and she told me they can remove it and I would be under local anesthesia. She also told me that the procedure and post op is painful. What should I do? I am terrified of the thought I should go to the surgery! Is it possible that thombosed hemorrhoid somehow subsides?

Yes, it is. I also had external thrombosis in the past. I completely understand your pain! However, the clot eventually softens and swelling disappears. Pain will eventually reduce in a week and swelling will go away in 2 or 3 weeks. I hope this helps. Good luck!
