We found out six weeks ago my mom has throat cancer. The MD has been coming up with a tx plan, but It seems it seems like it has taken a long time, like 5 weeks. Should I be concerned about this and also they want to put in a feeding tube, anyone with any experience with this?

My dad has throat cancer and is now done without radiation and chemo, but is feeling worse now than during. They said it would be the opposite. He is vomiting whenever he tries to eat. Although that’s over now ever since he got his tube removed. He has lost some weight and he has surgery w/in the next few weeks.

My mom went through this two years ago . The tube is a must to keep the weight on. The two side affects she lives with ,is bad dry mouth and ringing in the ears due to the radiation.
