I recently had surgery on my throat for polyp removal. It is going on three weeks now, and my voice still is not back. I called my doctor back to state my concerns.

Does anyone have a similar experience.

Concerned teacher that speaks in a whisper!!!!!

My wife had the same operation in March. Now about 8 weeks later, she still has problems with her voice. It is progressing slowly; I think when she saw her surgeon ~10 days ago, he was quietly shocked, and suggested another 4 weeks of rest. Rolling Eyes
