throbing, pulsating pains in the head with high heartbeat

In last week or so I have had a strange problem where performing any activity that raises my heartbeat to a higher rate (cardio, etc) causes shooting pains in few spots in my head on both sides. Pain is throbbing and pulsating and only lasts for few minutes unless I keep my heart beat up. It feels like there is lot of blood pressure being pumped into some of the nerves in my head and the pressure is causing the pain. It started after a night of beer drinking that left my hung over the next day. After recovering from the headache I continue to experience this pain every time my heartbeat goes to somewhat extreme.

Can someone shed some light?

I have a similar problem, but I've had this as long as I can remember. I have asthma, which I'm sure doesn't help, but that is the first symptom to disappear after I exercise. I've been trying to figure this out for a while and had no luck. I'm planning on seeing a cardiologist soon, but the prelim tests at my regular doctor's office showed a mitral valve click (which they said were probably caused by sinus problems???). If you find out anything else about this, please let me know! Thanks!!

i have pulsing pain in the back top of my head aswell except mine happens when i practice with my band ( i am the vocalist/screamer) id really like to kno if this is a big problem or not either
