| Im 20 years old...off and on since I was 15.. I have really bad cramps on the first day of my period. These cramps are so bad that I sometimes feel like throwing up and I have even blacked out/fainted from them. My periods are never very heavy and only last about four days, but the first day is sometimes unbearable. What is wrong with me? |

| I would talk to your obgyn, and get a check up to see if something could be causing this, Ive had the same problems as you are having but mine were always a flood, but when I was checked out they couldnt find anything wrong, however they may with you, also I have learned that when I had my IUD inserted, (form of birth control) I didnt have the bad cramps and vomiting, or heavy periods anymore, those even stopped, well maybe one every few months or so but only for a day or two...The Mirena IUDs can stay in place for about 5 years and with me they worked 100%, this could be something for you to check into if your not wanting to become pregnant right now, many forms of birth control will help with the bad cramps and such....Hope this helps.... |
