Do thyriod diseases occur more often in menopause? I mean, because of hormone miss balance etc. Is there any relationship between thyroid diseases and menopause? I’ve been recognized the first symptoms of menopause in last 2 months. But they seem a little bit extreme for me. How can I be sure?

Thyroid disease is the most commonly found in women age from 35 to 65. I was diagnosed hypothyroidism when I was 40. My symptoms have worsened during the onset of menopause. I need help to know if this is normal or if I should be concerned? I've was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure after several years of infertility problems and missed periods. I have been on HRT 1 year. After being diagnosed with hypothyroid and hyperparathyroid the doctor prescribe synthroid and vitamin D therapy. Two months later I started my period.
Shoudl I still be taking my Hormone replacement and is there any reason to be concerned that another problem is looming. I am not looking forward to another endometrail biopsy.
