I had my Thyroid removed in Dec. 06, and I am having a check up this summer, at my blood test my TSH was 0.2. and my Doctor said that the tests indicate that m TSH is appropriately suppressed while taking Synthroid 0.l75 mg a day, and that I should continue this dosage.

My thyroglobulin was less than 0.2, however, the thyroglobulin antibody was 71 (normal less than 60) because the throglobulin antibody is elevated, it is difficult to interpret the thyroglobulin level. and will probably not be able to use the througlobulin level as a measure of thryroid cancer activity.

I am schedule for a total body 1-131, today, will this clear up why the thyroglobulin antibody was high??

Thank you for your answer.
