My daughter has been diagnosed with bi-polar last year. she is 41 years old. I understand denial is a big component, but she insists her problem is with her thyroid, not her brain. I do know years ago a doctor thought she had a problem with her pituatary gland. Is that related at all to thyroid also?
In other words, does her denial have any truth that should be followed up on.
Thank you.
