Hello, I am a 40 year old female In June I had a fna done for thyroid nodule. I was told that it is benign by the pathologist and the doctor but surgery was recommended. I went for a second opinion and was told that it was malignant according to the test results that i gave him that I ordered from the hospital. I am very confused and nervous. Of course I want to believe the doctor that said it was benign which is an ent...My question is how one doctor is saying something different than the other and it is making me very nervous. Thank you for any help.
