YES! it will most definitely effect you if your thyroid levels are not normal.
You did not state whether you were hypo or hyper thyroid. Each will have different symptoms.
You should see a doctor, have a blood test before you do this for your own personal well being.
Thyroid disease (whether hypo or hyper) can really make you feel like crap and have effects on your body.
