thyroidectomy May 10,2006

Hi there,

I had a thyroidectomy done due to a large nodule came back negative for cancer... am still having quite a lot of pain in the incision which is kind of hard and raised a bit? hoping someone else has felt this as well am having a bit of a time becoming hypothyroid gained 15 lbs in just over a month still exercising and eating normally... anyone know if there is a special diet? Dr. upped meds from 1.0 to .15 mcg of synthroid... I just don't feel myself... HELP
