I should do thyroitropin test next week. It’s because I probably have miss function of my thyroid gland. I would like to know more about this disorder. I know that it’s life long threatened disease. What is the function of thyroitropin in human body?

Thyroitropin test is done to determine how well your thyroid gland works. Thyrotropine is produced in pituitary gland, it stimulates thyroid gland, it’s also called thyroid stimulated hormone tsh. I’m well informed because I have hypofunction of thyroid gland-hypothyreosis. I use supplements and have very slow metabolism.
