tingling, sore breasts and staining two weeks after period..

[b] MY last period was dec. 29, on about the 12th of January I had severe cramping and alot of clear pink and brown tinged discharge, now on the 21st of january, 3 days before my period, my breast are very sore and tingling really bad and I'm cramping and staining brown again.. i've took a couple pregnancy test and they were negative.. I'm on ortho-tri cyclen lo but I took penicillin for two weeks this month for sinus infection.. could it be messing up my pills? I'm very confused as to why my breasts are soo sore, I've had two babies and the only time they have ever hurt this bad was during pregnancy.. can you give me any explanations??[/b]

I am a nursing student and I have read before that Penicillin can sometimes interfere with oral contraceptives. I hope everything works out for you!
