tingling testicls

I had an unprotected sex four weeks ago but it was with a very good friend for whom I know hasn’t had many partners. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that my left testicle has been tingling ever since and I do feel a strange discomfort. Does this necessarily mean an STD. I talked to my friend and she told me she didn’t have unprotected vaginal sex only oral two times.

STDs can be transmitted through oral sex as well, you know. But your symptoms don’t necessarily mean an STD. I had the same feeling for about two months when I decided to have it checked. I had an ultrasound of the scrotum and they told me there was an inflammation of an epididymis. Of what? A tube that lies behind and on top of testicles. I was treated with antibiotics. They told me I could have complications if I didn’t have it checked!
