|
|
| I have been getting patches of tiny blister-like spots on the first two fingers of my right hand for years. I generally don't try to pop them, but when I have, I too just get a clear liquid. The skin around them is thicker & takes longer to heal, and the nail on my index finger doesn't grow well from the cuticle, which is near where the rash started. I thought for years it might be related to smoking, b/c they that's usually where I hold a cigarette, and I had been told that nicotine exacerbated wart break-outs. I asked my dermatologist about it, and he didn't know what it was, and kinda blew me off. Now, I've got a patch on the ball of my left hand. I'm not sure if I'm reassured that other people has similar issues or not! |

| I just wanted to say that I have this exact same thing! It's always on my right pinky, just to the left of the fingertip. These ones are annoying because there are about ten of them clustered close together and it's starting to impair my tactile sense with the finger. I have noticed them on other fingers before, but only one or two at a time and only ever on the backs or sides. |

I was trying to find an answer to these small bumps too. I get them on my ring finger on my left hand. I looked up the information on that dyhidrotic eczema and I'm certain it's not that. These little bumps don't itch at all. They are about the size of a pin head and filled with clear liquid. They come and go at random. Maybe they are stress related... I'll have to keep track. No one else notices them. When they start going away skin feels rough almost to the point of cracking. I notice them most just after working with a hot liquid like liquid glycerin and some fragrance oils (I'm a soap maker by trade). Perhaps it's an allergic reaction but I wouldn't think so and why would it be now after all these years in the same profession? I guess I'm leaning more towards stress only because of the timing. They do not spread even if I break them open. I only have them right near the corner of my fingernail in an area about as big as a dime. Skin is not red just rough. Any ideas please let me know. |

Hi all,
I have had these finger blisters most of my life. I am now 35. My dad gets them too. Anyway, I have learned to live with them. They come out every spring and I expect them. I came across this thread while looking up another rash I seemed to get this weekend.
Here is how I deal with it. A doctor might freak if s/he read this, but oh well.
I pop the little suckers . They itch intensely if I don't. I have had them so bad that I have scars on my fingers from where they clumped up and the area got hard. Each blister is the size of a pin head and I have them right now. After I pop them and squeeze out the serum, I clean off the area and they heal up in a day. I am then left with a small white spot where they had been. Pretty much, by the end of spring and summer, I have a white freckled appearance on my hands. I get them all over, but again, I have had them for a Long Long time. Feet, hands, between fingers, on knuckles, sides of toes, and occasionally on the cheeks. Reading today, I think they are that dyshy ecxema thing. But not herpes, since I have had them since I was a child. |

| I am glad I am not the only person who gets these. Like one previous person, mine show up with the seasons, usually spring and fall. They don't itch unless I start messing with them. I try not too but sometimes I just can't help it. I do remember the first time I got them. I was in high school and went into a friends jacuzzi and shortly thereafter they started showing up. Not sure if it is related or not. From what I have read, it sounds like they are not related to anything more serious, which is good. But if anyone comes across anything that helps control or get rid of them, please let me know. Thanks. |

| i was just doing a search because i have this problem too. i have one on my left pinkie it is really tiny and drives me nuts. i haven't paid enough attention to see what the season was or what i was doing before when i get them. i only get one at a time, and sometimes lower on the side of my hand. it is 100 degrees here in AZ and i am an artist, but haven't been working with any mediums lately. i cant believe no one knows what they are! |

ME too! They drive me crazy! Sometimes they're blister and sometimes just bumps. They are only on my right fingers and they hurt! Like e1 else they come and go w/no reason. They are often around the nailbed but now I've got one in the middle of my thumb and it hurts to touch anything. I usually can't get anything out of them if i squeeze. Sometimes clear liquid.
I really would like to know what they are and how to get rid of these!! |
